Just moved to San Diego - looking for other lifters, preferably in Bankers Hill / Hillcrest / Middletown
Flexible on days to workout, but I generally only lift 2 or 3 days/week - have discovered that I make LESS progress if I workout MORE
Somewhat flexible on hours - before or after work

Re: Powerlifters in San Diego?
Sun, January 7, 2007 - 4:39 AMthere is a scottish highland games group in san diego, also downtown there is a strongman gym--
Kegrice Gym -- San Diego's Only Powerlifting and Strongman Gym
Kegrice Gym 131 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA map (619) 820-4501 San Diego's Only Powerlifting and Strongman Gym. Kegrice Gym Home ...

its probably too far for you, but there is this guy's gym, which is actually his 2 car garage, but he trains olympic lifting... I really like it because it ads a lot of challenge to lifting, and focus, since the snatch and clean and jerk are really hard to master....

Re: Powerlifters in San Diego?
Wed, January 10, 2007 - 11:02 PMThanks - I checked out Kegrice last week, but getting there during rush hour was a mess
I'll have to check out Mike's...but I have to say the few times that I have tried Olympic lifting I didn't particularly like it - more power to you that you can do it.
